Savory Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts in Creamy Sauce
Ingredients: 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Toss Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper, and spread them out on a baking sheet.
Roast Brussels sprouts for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and tender.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat.
Add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes, stirring constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth, about 5 minutes.
Remove Brussels sprouts from the oven and pour the creamy Parmesan sauce over them. Stir to coat evenly.
Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to meld flavors, then serve hot.
